Regrettably, there will be no Oil coming out from the Afro-Índico before 2020 – not because there is none, but just because the oil prospection started just a few years ago.
One cannot however ignore the likelihood of a new long oil-pipeline from Juba (South-Sudan) flowing into a major oil terminal at Port Lamu where a deal has recently been struck amongst Kenya, China and South-Sudan – the proclaimed objective is to re-route half of the huge Sudanese oil reserves from the Red Sea onto the Indian Ocean. |
